Anderson's, the family business of Carlo Valenti, was founded in Italy in 1966, and their belts continue to be produced entirely by hand at their Parma factory, with each stage of production being carried out with the utmost care. The brand uses only the very best materials, just as they have done since making their very first belt.

It was founder Carlo Valenti’s infatuation with British style and tailoring that led to this Italian company being given such a Northern European-sounding name. The choice of "Anderson's" was inspired by the legendary Savile Row tailor Anderson & Sheppard.
