Church’s is one of the world’s most highly renowned producers of welted men’s shoes. Each handmade pair takes around eight weeks to complete, with the quality and attention to detail that only the most expert craftsmanship can provide. As an interesting aside, in 1881, Church’s was the world’s first shoemaker to offer differently constructed left and right shoes.
Church’s was founded in 1873 by Thomas Church, whose family tradition of shoemaking dates back all the way to 1675. Since then, the marque has been carefully refining its production techniques, producing exceptionally well-made shoes that, with the right care, will last a lifetime. Most of their shoes continue to be handmade in the company’s British workshop.
