Youthful and idealistic, France's Veja is definitely a brand worth keeping an eye out for. A strong focus on sustainable and ethical production and products that can truly claim to be designed with the environment in mind mean the brand has only just begun revolutionising the world of sneakers.

The brand was founded in 2005 by childhood friends  Sébastien Kopp and François Morillion, who shared not only a passion for sneakers but also for environmental and ethical causes. The duo refer to Veja as a "project" that looks beyond the beautiful appearance of the finished product to include what went in to making it, whether it be raw materials, working conditions or what kind of energy is used to light their office.
