orSlow was established in 2005 in the Japanese city of Hyogo, born of founder Ichiro Nakutsu’s interest in denim and workwear. His aim was to produce updated iterations of workwear and military clothing in durable materials whose ability to outlive rapidly shifting trends he hoped would contribute to slowing down the fashion cycle.

orSlow’s designs offer an unassuming and classic style with a clear focus on high-quality materials and production methods. Currently, the brand’s main focus is on the productions of jeans, shirts and jackets, with denim being a recurrent choice of material.
