For the 1934 Grand Prix, the German team came up with the idea of making race cars without lead paint, in an attempt to reduce the maximum weight of 750kg. The resulting "Siberpfeil" used aluminium body panels instead of the traditional white-painted steel. This scale model from Authentic models is a celebration of this revolutionary race car type, known in English as the "Silver Arrow".
