Since its inception, Woolrich has been dedicated to the production of warm and durable clothing. Its roots can be traced back to 1830, when John Rich II began selling clothing to the pioneers arriving in the Pennsylvanian wilderness. With time, the company even began manufacturing blankets and uniforms for the US Army.
In the 1990s, Italy's WP Lavori began licencing the Woolrich name, establishing the Woolrich John Rich & Bros. brand, creating modern reinterpretations of classic Woolrich models that nevertheless remain faithful to the name's illustrious history.
