Over a hundred years ago, Italian entrepreneur Walter Martiny began producing shoes with vulcanised rubber soles in his Turin workshop. The first of Superga's now iconic 2750 tennis shoes left its workshop just over a decade later, in 1925. This classic model so beloved by the people of Italy is still in production to this day.
Since its establishment in 1911, Superga has produced millions of shoes. The brand got its start as a producer of sports shoes, with a particular focus on tennis and basketball shoes. Today, the company’s shoes have come to represent the more casual and relaxed lifestyle.
