Since its founding by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada in 1970, Paris-based label KENZO has been inspired by the jungle. This is evident in the considerable East Asian influences and colourful patterns seen in its collections. Its iconic tiger motif has long been a particularly central part of its collections, especially since 2011 when designer duo Carol Lim and Humberto Leon used the tiger head design on the brand's shirts and jumpers, creating a global buzz. In keeping with the values of Kenzo Takada himself, Lim and Leon try to resist passing seasonal trends, and environmental concerns have a central role in every product bearing the KENZO name.
