Italian brand Colmar has long been associated with sportswear and functional apparel. For decades, athletes sporting the brand’s clothing have dominated the Alpine slopes and, since 1923, Colmar has been continually refining and developing its products to help them reach their true potential.
1923 Monza, Italien
Much has changed at the Colmar family business since its inception in 1923. What began as a manufacturer of hats and gaiters run by husband-and-wife team Mario and Irma Coloumbo evolved into a specialist workwear producer, even supplying uniforms to the French Foreign Legion, before shifting focus once more to the outerwear for which they are best known today.
The brand name itself is taken from the surname and forename of founder Mario Coloumbo: Col-Mar.
