People’s Republic of Cashmere, as the name suggests, specialises in exclusive basics in 100% cashmere with timelessly clean Nordic design. The brand focuses on comfort, quality and distinctive colours.

The brand was founded in Denmark in 2012 by friends Hong Reese-You and Emilie Fenst who, during a trip to Inner Mongolia, happened upon a local cashmere producer whose creations immediately captured the duo’s imagination. Through the People’s Republic of Cashmere label, they hope to share their passion for cashmere with the world.
