The 1880 collection is a continuation of the brand’s long tradition of creating handmade, welted shoes with an uncompromising attention to detail. In the year lending its name to the collection, Loake was founded in Kettering, England by brothers John, Thomas and William Loake, and has since produced over 50 million pairs of welted shoes.
Each pair of shoes from Loake 1880 takes eight weeks to produce, with every shoe made from the very best materials available using a Goodyear welted construction, a method involving the use of a welted seam.
