    Den första strumpan av varumärket Burlington stickades 1975 i Tyskland. Sedan våren 2008 är Burlington uppköpt av Falke Group som också äger strumpvarumärket Falke. Sedan man köpte upp Burlington har man förvaltat varumärket med stor omsorg och ett skarpt öga för kvalité och design.
