About Kelly
- The Kelly from Hermès was introduced in the 1930s but became widely known several decades later when Princess Grace Kelly used the bag to hide her pregnancy from the press – which later inspired the model’s name. Its structured silhouette and signature turn-lock have made the Kelly one of the most recognizable designs in the fashion world.
The bag comes in sizes ranging from 15 to 40, with 25, 28, 32, and 35 being the most common. It is typically carried by hand and comes with a detachable shoulder strap, except for the smallest versions. The Kelly is produced in several leather types, including Togo, Epsom, Box Calf, Swift, and Chevre. -
