Much of the needlework continues to be done entirely by hand, such as affixing the collar and individually sewing each buttonhole. To this day, their process retains many of the rules from a bygone era predating the invention of the sewing machine – often involving the exact same techniques that would have been used back in 1925 when Caroline, the brand’s founder, opened her first dressmaker’s in Naples.
