About Santos
The Cartier Santos created in 1904 when Louis Cartier created a watch for his good Brazilian friend Alberto Santos-Dumont. The model officially launched to the public in 1911, in a design very similar to the 1904 original. The model evolved over the years, and in 1978, the now characteristic Cartier Santos design with a gold and steel links were added.
