The roots of Scottish marque Begg & Co can be traced back to 1866, when founder Alex Begg opened his first workshop in the Scottish town of Paisley. Enlisting the help of the area’s most highly skilled craftsmen, Begg & Co began manufacturing scarves of the very highest quality. Today, over a century and a half later, the heart of the business lies in the nearby coastal town of Ayr, where Begg & Co continues to manufacture its almost legendary scarves using the finest cashmere and wool.
Begg & Co is a member of the Sustainable Fibre Alliance and attaches great importance to the sustainability of both its materials and production techniques.
