Dockers was launched as a division of the Levi's family in San Fransisco,1986, taking inspiration from 1920's miner khaki's and British longshoremen. The highly versatile trousers quickly became a classic.
As late as the 1990's, casual friday was born, preceded men wearing formal clothes for work the rest of the week. Dockers quickly became a central part of this historical transformation of menswear.
