Barena
Italy's Barena is characterised by its relaxed and natural style that flirts with the past while remaining firmly in the present. Their collections are dominated by natural materials, often locally-sourced and selected in accordance with traditional local craftsmanship.
The Barena Style
The inspiration for Barena's distinct style can be found in its name, which in old Celtic refers to the region between water and land in a lagoon, with their designs being heavily influenced by the ancient inhabitants of the lagoon that would become the City of Venice. Its designers often take inspiration from garments spotted at a museum, flea market or in an antique book.
