A Milanese Family Business The Altea story begins in 1892, when Giuseppe Sartori opened a small workshop in Milan making and selling neckties. Over a century later, the Milanese family business is still going strong, albeit with much-expanded production. It is therefore of particular note that all Altea products continue to be Made in Italy.
